I wanted to go over some basketball related things before I hit the town tonight. First off March Madness has begun. On Sunday, the NCAA Selection Committee selected the 68 teams that would get a chance to play for the National Championship. Four of those games were play-ins. On Tuesday, potential 16 seeds UNC-Asheville and AR-Little Rock played an OT thriller with UNC-Asheville emerging victorious, 81-77. The UNC-Asheville Bulldogs played the number one seed Pittsburgh Panthers in the Southeast Region earlier today and got crushed 74-51. Also on Tuesday were potential 12 seeds Clemson and UAB, with Clemson crushing UAB 70-52. The Clemson Tigers also played earlier today against the number five seed West Virginia Mountaineers in the East Region, with the Mountaineers barely squeaking bye 84-76. Continue reading »
