If every culture shares one same TV program that varies only in language – soap operas. From American daytime soaps, to Spanish-language telenovas of my youth, to even the tear-jerks of Japan, every country has it’s own series whose complex story lines and will-they-won’t-they couples capture the imaginations of audiences everywhere. But the most popular in the 21st century have to be the ones produced in Korean.

Yes, in the land of K-Pop idols, and delicious food, comes some of the best made and most compelling dramas this side of the equator, filled with multiple story lines, intriguing and complex characters, and of course that perfect blend of drama and humor.

So, let’s not waste more time, and dive into Protect the Boss.

I tried to keep it all bottled up inside. I tried so hard to bury it down as deep as it would go. I tried to put it in that dark place where all the rage and hatred in my heart for stupid people and awful movies…but I can’t. I refuse to. And so, let’s talk about the Glee season 3 finale.

Shut up, I know, Glee is stupid and for people much younger than me and so on and so forth. But it’s like Heroes – the first season was so good, I can’t stop now. But my God, if anything could make me turn my back on this show, it would be this insulting finale. Spoiler Alert Abound, y’all.

Back in February, I announced the upcoming DC Annual Titles including my speculation of what exactly they would involve. By now, everyone knows what annuals to expect and some, such as Teen Titans Annual #1, were released earlier this month. There are more on the way (sadly no Demon Knights Annual…oh well) but this month I figured I’d give Animal Man Annual #1 a shot. I bought the collected volume of the first 6 issues of the New 52 Animal Man a few weeks ago and enjoyed it a lot and, given that this is a stand-alone story, I figured I could pick it up even if I’m a few chapters behind the main story. Is this title from the first wave of New 52 Annuals worth reading?
