A PSP game by Namco Bandai based on the popular anime Tiger and Bunny will be hitting Japanese store shelves this September. Called Tiger and Bunny: On-Air Jack!, the game follows the original story from the anime and adds a newly created scenario with new characters just for the game. Conversation scenes have full voice acting from the original cast.
On-Air Jack! is an action game by the looks of it, and as an added element, to score higher ratings, you’ll have to entertain the crowd with flashy and special moves, much like the anime.
Also included with the game is an interesting feature: full Facebook and Twitter integration. On-Air Jack! is the only portable game I can think of where you can take a screenshot and post it directly on a social media platform.
The first release bonus includes a PSP custom theme, a sticker, and a code for an upcoming Tiger and Bunny social game.
The game is set for release September 20th. You can pre-order it at AmiAmi.
Kaburagi T. Kotetsu, aka Wild Tiger, will also be getting a figure courtesy of Megahouse’s G.E.M. line, a line of male figures. This figure sold out a few hours after it was made available for pre-order about a month ago. Good thing Anime-Island and Play-Asia still have him. Like the PSP game, he will also be released this September. Coincidence? I think not.
