On June 20th, pixiv had an official event announcement about something I reviewed a little while back: Ib.

For those unfamiliar, Ib is a Japanese indie survival horror game that took pixiv by storm after its release in Feburary 2012.
Due to its immense popularity, we have joined forces with kouri (the creator of the game) to open an Ib illustration contest.
The 6 selected winners will have their works featured in the upcoming “Ib Calendar 2013″ (working title) which is being overseen by kouri.
In light of this, I’ve decided to share some pictures that the hardworking artists of pixiv have drawn. These are only some of the pictures that caught my eye, there are likely thousands more. As always, I have the artist nickname and their pixiv ID’s included in the caption. Enjoy!
