The Bourne Legacy

Plot: Jason Bourne wasn’t the only subject in the experiment to create the perfect soldier, and so we have Jeremy Renner as….another random super soldier, finding out the horrible truth and fleeing for his life.

Pros: It looks like a clean cut, clear action movie, and J.R. is riding high on his recent Avengers role, so this film won’t crash his career if it flops. Plus, it could be good, there’s no reason it won’t be.

Cons: It doesn’t have a heavy connection to the Bourne series and I don’t know how the fans feel about it. Personally, it just seems like they are trying to cash in on the name.

Verdict: Meh, catch it on DVD.  I personally can’t even believe they even made another one of these. How long can they keep this plot thread going? And really, are there people still out there?

Previously on Final Fantasy 5 Four Job Fiesta 2012 Fridays, I defeated Liquid Flame, stole all the treasures in the exploding castle, and got the hell out of there with two seconds to spare.  As you can see, this was a lot more exciting than just beating up some stupid, raging turtle.  Anyway, the fire crystal jobs are weird, since you get two of them a short time later.  Anyway, luckily for me, I got the Ninja class, which was available immediately.

Ninjas are pretty awesome, they can equip two weapons at once, and can throw stuff.  Equipping two weapons means my damage output is going to be pretty damned high.  Of course, not “breakin’ rods erryday” high, but they’ll be quite useful when all I want to do in a battle is mash attack.  That’s not all, either.  Ninjas also can throw stuff.  I’m sure I don’t have to explain this part, but I can throw pretty much any sort of weapon or item.  Thrown weapons or items do great damage, but as you can imagine, they use up the items you throw.  Once again, I’m stuck with a job that will perpetually drain money.  Can’t say I’ll ever look forward to living the life of kings.
