Hey guys, Judge here with a “Mecha Monday” post. It’s been a while since the last “Mecha Monday,” and I apologize for this. A lot of things have happened, and with the on-going changes to the website, some running posts will be discontinued or modified. More on this at a later time. For now, let’s celebrate Mega Man’s 25th Anniversary! Capcom hasn’t done much with Mega Man since Keiji Inafune left the company, and our own Inverseman has voiced displeasure over the direction of the series.

However, as fate would have it, some sense was used by the higher ups at Capcom. To celebrate the Blue Bomber’s 25th, they collaborated with Singapore native, Seow Zong Hui, to bring fans Street Fighter X Mega Man as a PC download…for free! Yes that’s right! Capcom actually giving away something for free! The game is a traditional 8-bit Mega Man adventure, using Street Fighter characters in place of the traditional robot masters. They include Ryu, Chun-Li, Crimson Viper, Dhalsim, Blanka, Rose, Rolento, and Urien. You can download the game here.

And there’s some more good news! Mega Man 1-6 are heading to the 3DS eShop! According to the Capcom Unity blog, the original Mega Man will be available on December 27th, followed by Mega Man 2 on February 7th. The rest will be coming out at regular intervals throughout 2013. That’s definitely good news. Hopefully the Blue Bomber will have a better 2013 than 2012. Mega Man X9 please!

Though I’m not a huge fan of Cyber-90s-religious-fanatic Batman, I decided to keep reading to see where the story would go. Let’s dive into Knightfall Volume 2: Knightquest.
