The awesome people at the Movoto Real Estate blog do a lot of nerdy real estate calculations. In other words, they determine how much fictional mansions, castles, and buildings would be worth if they were real. Earlier in the month, they calculated that Princess Peach’s castle from Super Mario 64 would be worth roughly one billion dollars ($950,972,940). And the location would be Oslo, Norway. Check out the post to see a moar in-depth review on how they came up with the price. A few other cool places they’ve calculated cost of include:

World of Warcraft’s Grommash Hold – $3,265,608
Superman’s Fortress of Solitude – $814 trillion
World of Warcraft’s Stormwind Keep – $10,293,472
Resident Evil’s Spencer Mansion – $1,751,625
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s Hyrule Caste – $113,807,400
Tony Stark’s Mansion – $117,250,000
Howl’s Moving Castle – $5,126,000

  1. […] Once again, the folks over at the Movoto Real Estate blog have come up with another great calculation, this time of the X-Men mansion. According to them, the fictional mansion located in Westchester, NY is worth $58,180,386. So moar than Wayne Manor and less than Tony Stark’s mansion. And much less than the Fortress of Solitude. Check out the detailed breakdown here. Also check out the previous post we did about Movoto: Princess Peach’s castle. […]
