Half-Life 3 Confirmed?

In a day full of great news, perhaps none is as big as Valve filing for a trademark on Half-Life 3.  The trademark was filed on September 29th.  The last Half-Life installment, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, was released in 2007.

There’s been a lot of news revolving Valve in recent days with the introduction of SteamOS, Steam Machine, and the Steam controller. But many fans were hoping that an announcement of Half-Life 3 would be part of the barrage of news last week. At least this trademark, along with the possible  confirmation of Left 4 Dead 3, has given people hope that Valve can in fact count to three. Now for a quick “Half-Life 3 Confirmed” meme:

September 29 = 9/29
29 – 9 = 20
“Half” of 20 is 10
10 – Valve (5 letters) = 5
5 – 2 (Episode 2) = 3
Half-Life 3 Confirmed!
