It’s finally time for our final unveiling. *drumroll…*

Tadah! It’s Bahzahkah (or as you all may know it by, Berserker). Our Fate/guo Berserker will be Hannibal, the Carthaginian military commander and tactician. But you probably already guessed that, from the elephant. Berserker’s master is some token loli character who poops rainbows and unicorns or something and often inadvertently wears risque clothing. More info will be put up, once Jack Guo gets with the program.

With that, our Fate/guo cast has been entirely revealed. As for the story, you’ll have to wait some more…

Where is my master's body?!

Hey MoarPowah! With Chinese New Year out of the way (I did nothing last Sunday, as you may have noticed), I’m finally back to drawing the usual Guoventures, and hopefully finally nearing the end of the Fate/guo cast.

Today we have the penultimate revealing, Caster! We’ve decided to make her an Egyptian pharaoh. Why is her master without a body and in her speech bubble you ask? Perhaps a certain artist got lazy. Because we ran out of funds and decided to allocate money to the background instead.

More info will be put up about her once Jack Guo gets around to it, but I do know her Noble Phantasm is pyramid related…

In any case, thanks for viewing again and please look forward to the final revealing next week!

Lock the doors and hide your kids, ’cause this next Fate/guo character is way hot!

Meet Rider, who loves to ride. Horses of course. She especially loves riding good-looking ones. And… that’s about all I know about her. Either Judge or Jack Guo will come and re-edit this post so that her full story is in. Until then, please enjoy her picture as you’d like.

Yeehaw!

Sorry for the long hiatus, my poor laptop was in the repair shop after I (accidentally) spilled water on the keyboard. But I am back, and kicking it off with the next revealing of the Fate/guo cast, Saber!

The Saber/Master combo is based on our friends Zerreth and ATK, respectively. Zerreth is headstrong and wants to fight and stuff in the Holy Grail/Guo War (he is, after all, some proud Korean emperor) but ATK just wants to get out of the war, hence he is selling his Command Spells (name your price! He’ll sell it to the highest bidder).

FOR GLORY!

Run, run, run for your life!

So here are the creepers of Fate/guo. Assassin and his master.

In order to not portray a certain inverted man as a raging lolicon, I’ve instead portrayed Assassin’s Master as a chick-chaser. Because everyone loves a hot chick.

And according to Judge, Assassin was a serial stalker/rapist who went around … stalking and raping, obviously. His indiscretion towards age and gender made it hard to guess his next target, but he was eventually brought down by the law, although it was all too late for those who fell to his creepiness.

You are under arrest for unauthorized trespassing on this post!

Do people still stick posters on the sides of buildings? This is a sort of nostalgic picture, since I haven’t seen advertisements (especially for joining the Holy Grail War) on the sides of buildings in ages. I guess we have better places to stick them nowadays. It seems the fad nowadays is to stick posters on construction sites.

Anyways, I suppose it is time for the debut of Archer and his master, Girl A JILL MASAMUNE [whose favorite color is red and who has invaded and conquered this post].

Alas I don’t have the stats page, since I don’t make them. Jack Guo usually does, but he’s been busy and all in all MIA these days, so use your imaginations and make Archer as overpowered as you like! (maybe Judge will revise this at a later date and add on the stats page…)

What I can tell you is that one of his Nobel Phantasms is the Gate of Go. Not Guo, Go. This is because Archer is based on a oatmeal-and-board-game-loving friend Xomnom.

Enjoy, that is all for this week’s Guoventures.

Hello denizens of Moar Powah! Judge here to give you his impressions of the Fall 2011 anime season. To be honest, I haven’t been watching much anime this year. Just too many other things occupying my time. For what it’s worth, here are the shows I have watched from start to finish:

Winter 2010/11: Infinite Stratos, Dragon Crisis!, Kore wa Zombie desu ka, and Kimi ni Todoke Season 2

Spring 2011: Yondemasu yo Azazel-san, Moshidora, Tiger and Bunny, and Ao no Exorcist

Summer 2011: Mawaru Penguindrum (still airing)

As you can see, not much. I’ve been following less and less each season. There are plenty of shows I want to go back and watch, but the time isn’t there. However, I decided this season to pick up my anime slack and not get behind anymoar. This isn’t a first impressions because obviously I’ve watched moar than one episode of the following shows. I usually like to get a third of the way through a season before I determine if it’s worth continuing, dropping, or picking up at a later time. So far, all the shows I’ve been watching are keepers.  Continue reading »

Ugh. What a greasy servant.

Yang Guo was a peasant hailing from a small village in the countryside of China. He was shortly abandoned after birth due to his unusual greasiness.  He wandered aimlessly and was shunned by the villages because of the shine in his hair. One day, he stumbled upon an ancient tomb. In it was a clay soldier carrying a rusty spear. The spirit of Guan Yu emerged and told Yang Guo, “One day, you shall be a hero.” Yang Guo took the words to heart and took the spear. With his grease, he fashioned the spear into a magnificent weapon, which he named Guo Balg. One summer, an invading army of barbarians attacked the land of China.  The emporer called upon all his soldiers; however, they all fell to the barbarian menace. The Nora tribe could not be stopped. Yang Guo decided to face them alone. With the glistening summer sun upon him, he reflected the light and blinded the barbarians.  He struck them down one by one with Guo Balg. The emperor rewarded him by proclaiming him the hero of China.  Alas, poor Yang Guo did not live to bask in his glory. He was poisoned by a barbarian girl, and his legend would forever remain.
